Abel F.

Abel F.

Fayetteville, Arkansas,

As a teacher, I really appreciate the focus on youth mental health and community that iiCare champions. As a fan who watched the 2013 Super Bowl game from between my fingers, I'm beyond excited to meet Ray Lewis! Thank you so much for making this happen, Fandiem - it's a dream come true!

David R.

David R.

Chicago, Illinois,

Me and my wife Carmen Ramirez would like to thank you so much for this opportunity, we are so grateful for this unbelievable weekend. We both had to go to work today and just had dinner and I wanted to reach out and tell you we appreciate it. I did post on Facebook, Fandiem and The Milagro Foundation so everyone can research both and hopefully open up other opportunities for everyone else.

Susan L.

Hackettstown, New Jersey,

Big fan of Rob Thomas and have seen him about 5 times. I follow the organization of Sidewalk Angels Foundation that him and his wife founded. As a pet lover and have rescued dogs over the years, is the reason for me to donate to this charity and let others know about it. This sweepstakes with Fandiem was an opportunity to support causes that artist believe in and opportunity to meet the Artist whose music I enjoy.

Chris C.

Saint Louis, Missouri,

I was looking for worthy causes for end of year charitable giving and found this. As a performer myself (I’m a working stand up comedian), I think music and arts education is more important than ever. This was a great way to support that cause and possibly win a chance to see a band I love.

Angela W.

Angela W.

Citrus Heights, California,

I've worked with and always have given back to worthy charities - I picked Luke's because he is my favorite artist and he's the type of person who has great character, compassionate, and committed to giving back to the right type of organizations.

James C.

James C.

Norwalk, Connecticut,

I've been to countless Pearl Jam shows, an Ohana Festival, several Earthlings shows and saw Eddie Vedder in Barcelona (with his pal Glen) - every single one has been great. To say the least I'm a huge fan. More importantly, however, is that I'm awed and inspired by the charitable work of Eddie, his family and the band, especially his family's support of EB research, where I know they are making a difference. To be able to compete for Ed's classic car and support the Vitalogy Foundation at the same time is a clear WIN/WIN. It's not the first time I've done it, and it won't be the last. Thank you to my wife and four children for pooling their resources, at my request, to enter me in this event in lieu of a holiday gift.

Janet F.

Janet F.

Roswell, Georgia,

Enjoying music has always been a central focus of my family’s lives and we appreciate the dedication musicians place on their livelihood. When we heard about how MusiCares values the mental health and financial well being of musicians in need, we felt that was an important cause to support. Also, we’re very excited to see a multigenerational icon such as Mariah Carey in concert!

New Port Richey, Florida,

I've been a fan of Pentatonix since the Sing-Off. I sing acapella and have loved them from the start! Giving to a worthy cause to help children was my initial thought. But what if I would win? This is a dream come true!

Philadelphia, Pennsylvania,

We saw Steve 20-some years ago at the Electric Factory in Philadelphia, and are happy to see him again. I have a family member on the autism spectrum, so the cause of this benefit, The Keswell School, was a big reason I donated. The thought of winning a Martin Guitar like Steve's did not hurt.

Harrison, Tennessee,

I saw the opportunity on Instagram to donate towards The Nature Conservancy and the planting of five million trees while being entered into a drawing for the chance to win a trip to see Dave Matthews and Tim Reynolds in concert. I thought to myself, well, I feel called to donate so let's go for it. If I win cool but at least I'm donating towards a great cause. I CAN'T believe I won...I have loved Dave and his music for almost 30 years. His music is the soundtrack for my life!!!

Leech, New Brunswick,

I’ve always loved giving to others and helping those around me. When I saw this contest, it felt like the best of both worlds: a cause that supports children, and a chance to meet the band that means everything to my husband. Trivium is the reason he started playing guitar at 14 years old. He’s been a die-hard fan from day one, and music is truly his whole world. I’m beyond grateful for this opportunity, and I’m so happy that my contribution will help children while also making my husband’s dream come true.

Senoia, Georgia,

My wife is from a small town, near Russell, Kansas. Her dad is a Korean War veteran, who turned 93 last week. Bill Murphy is a lifetime member of the Russell, Kansas VFW. My wife, Carlee, was in the USAF for 23 years. She is also a lifetime member of the Russell, Kansas. VFW. Her brother, Spencer, served in the US Army and is a lifetime member of the Russell, Kansas. VFW. My father was a WW2 veteran and a POW. His last assignment was to Vietnam. He served 29 years in the USAF. I served 8 years in the USAF. So, my family has a lot of connections to military service, not to mention Kansas veterans. I am humbled to be able to contribute to such a positive cause, as this.

Gladwyne, Pennsylvania,

Where do I begin?!? There were several reasons I entered this sweepstakes. Firstly, Musicares is incredible! Musicians "leave it all on the field" and having a support system is such a priceless lifeline in times of need. If you don't know about Musicares... look them up... they are a really compassionate and loving charity that provides a safety net to musicians in need. Secondly, IT'S STEPHEN WILSON JR!!!!! It's hard to say what is cooler; meeting the legend himself (hopefully get to chat over his lyrical masterpieces and his sweet guitar skills) or getting to experience rocking out to him live and connecting with so many through his music. Either way this will be an epic chapter in my memoir one day. Thank you for creating a space to support a great cause and to make a fan's dreams come true. I promise to soak it all in and carry all the fans that didn't win with me in spirit! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

I grew up listening to Sammy my whole childhood. His iconic voice and unmistakeable sound remind me of Good Times! I have also never been to Cabo so I thought "What the heck! I'll donate. One Republic is always using their talents for good and to uplift communities. I wanted to be a part of that. We have been through a lot these last 5 years and One Republic’s music has inspired us to keep going, to find the good, to be present, and to enjoy the little things. When we felt completely lost the music is what uplifted us and kept us going.

Campbell, California,

I know the devastation to a family after a loved one chooses to end their life. My husband committed suicide in 2002. I carry that sadness with me to this day. AFSP provides critical support for prevention as well as outreach and counseling for survivors of loss like myself, and I am grateful for the work that they do. One of the things that helped me get through my darkest days was Goo Goo Dolls music. Songs like ’Cuz You’re Gone, It’s Over and Black Balloon made me feel less alone. Thank you John and Robby, for continuing to create songs that speak to our hearts.

Ajax, Ontario,

I entered this contest because Anderson .Paak’s music has become such a meaningful part of my life. My fiancée and I have this little game we play, where we try to guess songs as soon as they come on, and one day he played an Anderson .Paak track. From that moment, I was hooked. His sound was soulful, playful, and full of energy. What started out as a fun game turned into a genuine appreciation for his artistry, and his music quickly became part of the soundtrack to some of my happiest moments. Entering this contest felt like the perfect way to celebrate that connection and share how much his music has impacted me.

My wife and I are both longtime fans of The Offspring. The first album I was able to purchase myself was an album by The Offspring (Americana). When we saw the opportunity for such an amazing experience, along with the ability to donate to a good cause, it was a no-brainer. We’re so excited and proud to have been part of this.

I have donated to Farm Aid many times over the years, as I firmly believe in family farming and helping them continue their important contribution to our country. I have loved live music & attended concerts for the past 55 years and still going! I love Willie, Neil, and Dave Matthews soooo much!! So excited to have this opportunity to see them all together! And all the other bands as well. A truly once in a lifetime experience.

Port Deposit, Maryland,

I donated because I’m in the military and was part of the wounded warrior project briefly after coming back from deployment and getting surgery. The services they offered were amazing and I was very grateful to learn about so many different resources. I’ve also been a fan of Staind since the beginning. They’re music not only got me through tough times during my childhood but through my deployment as well. I would listen to Spleen before attempting a new personal record in the gym and they just happened to drop the Staind album during my deployment. It took me 12 hours to download that album on iTunes lol but it was worth it. Aaron played in Kuwait back in 2010 and I had flown back to Iraq before his show and was so bummed. Aaron’s support for the military has always meant a lot to me so I had to support this. I was absolutely blown away to find out that I won and can’t wait for this unforgettable experience. Thank you guys so much!!

Fremont, North Carolina,

I donated because this cause is deeply personal to me. Plant medicine quite literally saved my life after years of battling cluster headaches and struggling to find relief through traditional medicine. I’ve dedicated myself to helping others on their healing journeys, and supporting this work felt like a natural extension of that mission. The artist’s voice has been a constant source of inspiration for me — a reminder that resilience, creativity, and community can help us move through the hardest of times. This opportunity means so much more than just a trip; it’s a way to stand alongside a cause I believe in and celebrate the healing power of both music and nature.

Bozeman, Montana,

I donated to win because I strongly believe that the only way you can change your community is by actively participating in it and voting! And knowing that bands I love hold those same values is awesome. Modest Mouse was a huge part of my life growing up. They are a band my dad and I bonded over and they hold an incredibly special place in my heart. They were the soundtrack for every campfire, road trip, family game night, and even my drive to go vote for the first time when I turned 18. And knowing that they work with groups to help make sure people continue to support the communities that supported them is absolutely amazing.

Red Wing, Minnesota,

I fell in love with their music over 25yrs ago and live performance gives different feelings of songs that you’d get from their records. They’ve always helped for many different cause by doing charity shows and their generosity. I’d like to support what they believe in. I myself is a mother of Autistic son and I know how appreciated for someone who gives a hand. So I try to help others when I can.

The cause seemed like a no-brainer, helping students, schools, communities reach their full time potential thru the power of making music? Greer G.

San Ramon, California,

I entered this contest because Make A Wish is a beautiful organization that I have donated to in the past. I love that BSB will grant a wish to a child with a critical illness. I was happy to donate thinking my chances of winning were slim. I have loved BSB since the 90s but never had a chance to see them live until their Sphere residency. I have watched countless hours of BSB performances and concerts online. Their dancing and antics make me laugh and their voices make me cry. I am thrilled to see BSB and the most spectacular show ever in Vegas!!

I think it is refreshing when an artist/group donates their time and energy into something very impactful like mental health. I have been impacted with my own depression and anxiety at times and have had the good fortune to be able to seek help. Others are not so lucky. That’s why I admire the awareness that Phantogram has put mental health in the forefront of their charitable mission.

Savoy, Illinois,

When I saw the opportunity to support Medical Aid for Palestinians (MAP) through a partnership with IDLES—and possibly win a trip to see them perform in their hometown of Bristol, UK—I was glad to support an organization so aligned with the band’s values, not really considering the odds. As a musician and lifelong fan of powerful rock music, IDLES is one of my favorite bands and as someone who’s played guitar in original rock bands for over 35 years, winning a signed guitar from IDLES makes it all the more special. I feel lucky, honored, thankful and excited!

I’ve always loved Halestorm and when I saw this contest was to see them in France I had to enter since we had never been there. I’ve been trying to make as many memories as possible with my wife Mary since she has been fighting Glioblastoma brain cancer & kicking its ass for the past 2 1/2 years. Pearl Jam and Eddie Vedder’s music has woven throughout my life. I have been a Tenclub member for over 20 years. I’m a dermatologist and my wife Christa is a wound care nurse. We learned during our training how challenging the disease Epidermolysis Bullosa is and what EB patients have to endure. From afar we have watched Eddie and Jill Vedder doing amazing work for the EB cause. When the chance came up to donate to the cause through Fandiem with a small chance of sharing an experience involving Eddie it was a no-brainer.

Margate, England,

“I first saw the sweepstake on instagram and it caught my eye. At the time, the wildfires were awful and social media was filled with people losing their homes and every family having to relocate within hours of notice. Even donating a little would’ve gone a long way to help them, and with the benefit of donating, I also had the chance to meet my favourite band! I’ve loved Wallows since Spring/Nothing Happens, and first attended the Tell Me That It’s Over Tour with my best friend, who is the guest i’m taking. I can wholeheartedly say they’re my favourite artist of all time, not only because of their music, but i’ve seen how they are live; charismatic and their stage prescience is amazing!!”

Minneapolis, Minnesota,

When the sweepstakes were announced, I made a small donation not expecting anything, but knowing that I was supporting a very good cause that I believed in. There was only the slightest wisp of a hope in my thoughts, but in deadhead terms, I suppose I was putting a virtual “finger in the air”. And I was rewarded with massive miracle! I am surprised, overjoyed, and very excited!

I’ve always loved Billy Porter for his brilliance, boldness, unapologetic authenticity and fearless advocacy. I believe the Audacity Project will be a game-changer—giving BIPOC and LGBTQ+ youth the access, mentorship, and resources they need to break into the entertainment industry. I’m beyond excited to see how this foundation will empower the next generation of trailblazers and I’m happy to have a contributed a small part toward this amazing endeavor.

First of all I wanted to donate to El Rancho del Rey because of the fact they support and help children who need love, support and care because they haven’t known it yet because of the situation they were in. I have been a social worker and still work in the field of childrens care and that’s why I support people and foundations that give their heart and time to children in need. Second, I have been a fan of Il Divo since day 1 and I love their music and the way they even sound better live than on a record. To be able to meet them and support a cause that is so important to them at the same time is really great!

Fort Collins, Colorado,

I was pretty stoked when I saw the opportunity to not only donate to a cause I feel passionate about, but also get a chance to win an experience of a lifetime. Honestly, I never expected to win but loved getting to donate to WhyHunger because I believe deeply in what they are doing. The world needs organizations like them now more than ever, and I am happy to support them in any way I can. Michael’s music and messages of love, positivity, social justice, resilience, and community have been flowing through my ears and inspiring me for almost 25 years. Words cannot describe how grateful I am for the opportunity to meet him, share my appreciation, and get down to a night of amazing music. Much love to everyone!

Ankeny, Iowa,

We legitimately had the best time. The entire Used crew, especially the band and Simon, made us feel welcome. They treated us like we were legitimate guests of theirs as opposed to some strangers who got insanely lucky. From the moment we arrived until the moment we left they made sure we were comfortable, hooked us up with refreshments from their own stash, organically engaged in conversation, let us join in and sing during their pre-show set, brought us into their huddle, lots of hugs, hand shakes, fist bumps, smiles; just absolutely welcoming, funny, friendly people. Anyone who they count as friends are truly lucky humans. The show from side stage is something I know we’ll never forget!

Chalfont, Pennsylvania,

Sweet Relief seemed to be spot on. Us music dependent people rely all too much on getting what soothes us, make us heal, and brings us joy. It’s nice to know there is just a little way we can give back to those who do that, and may need our help when life shows up. Goose has been instrumental in my recovery after my wife died from lung cancer on New Year’s Day. All my Goose people know the story, and have helped me heal. Hugs, tears, friendship, meals, and just time well spent. Things were dark, and the music and friends got me back to living. They’ve also welcomed my daughter, Sara, and have brought her back to life too. I am all too grateful for the band and what they’ve given to me. Funny thing, I am not the only one who’s benefited greatly from what they do. They’ve impacted a lot of us, and helped in ways words cannot fully express.

We love Parker! My wife in particular is a huge fan. I’m sure it’s just about the music. We have seen Parker four times - Wallingford CT, Pier 17 Rooftop in NYC, Bridgeport Amphitheater, and MetLife. We just moved to Charleston and were so excited to see Parker as our first concert at Credit One Stadium. And I chaired a scholarship committee at our local Boys and Girls Club for almost 15 years so the combination of supporting military families with scholarships and the chance to see Parker was an easy decision!

The Turnkpike Troubadours are my favorite band (this will be my seventh concert), and both charities support great causes. My mother-in-law died of breast cancer, so the inclusion of Pink Warrior in particular caught my attention. When I saw the promotion on the band’s Instagram page, I thought: “Why wouldn’t I give!?” This is a great charity model.

Eagle River, Alaska,

I love Asking Alexandria’s music. My kids knew exactly who they were when I told them I had won and they’re so excited for me. As for the cause, I’m a therapeutic foster mom to 2 boys who have experienced immense physical and mental abuse + neglect. I’m also a step mom to two daughters who have trauma and have made the decision to stay with their dad and me. I’m a bio mom to the happiest kid I know who’s on the spectrum.. and then there’s me who has only really started understanding my own trauma within the last 2 years. Music has always been my go to for a mental break. When I was S.A.’d and bullied in HS, when I felt like dancing and happy, when I found out my dad’s cancer came back and it was terminal.. when I drive to work and I have 30 mins to myself... its always been music. Asking Alexandria has been with me on those car rides as well. I’m beyond honored to help with the cause even if I hadn’t won.

I chose to donate because the message of music as a community that lifts one another up and advocating for music as a common language resonated with me. Salem, New Hampshire,

We had a great time in LA. I built up a trip around what we won (the Kimmel taping) and we saw everything there was to see while we were out there. The Jimmy Kimmel Show staff was really amazing to us and we enjoyed getting a chance to have a drink and relax in the really cool Green Room backstage. We got to see the taping as it happened and then they led us upstairs where we waited for Jimmy Kimmel to come up to his dressing room and had a chance to speak with him in the hallway. He took a lot of time for us and wasn't rushed at all. Asked us some questions, answered other questions that we had, was really gracious with his time and then we took a photo and said our goodbyes. It was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

Simi Valley, California,

Well, I give to charity as much as I can and never win anything, but I know they are all good causes. Of course when Will Smith "popped" up I had to donate as we "met" years earlier at the premiere of Netflix's movie BRIGHT. (A veritable Will Smith party - and as you know, that is also my name.) I thought it would be funny if we met again...and Wahla! The universe is laughing at me or enjoying my hopes and dreams with me, in any case I am glad to contribute to the cause. Thank you all for this opportunity!

Plattsburg, Missouri,

The destruction in North Carolina was especially impactful for me. I think the unexpected nature of the flooding took so many by surprise. Absolutely heart-wrenching. I felt compelled to donate to this cause.

Andrew S.

Scottsbluff, Nebraska,

I have followed GNR and its members since the release of Appetite. It has been more than following. GNR has been the soundtrack for many parts of my life. I raised my kids on GNR. I have followed Duff, read his books and listened to Three Chords and the Truth. I donated because the charity he is supporting supports those suffering from depression. I have been through that and know the difficulties it presents.

Northport, New York,

I have been a fan of Cyndi Lauper ever since she released “Girls Just Want To Have Fun”. Forty years later, I continue to experience her songs as joyful and empowering. I am a mental health professional who strongly believes in social justice and reproductive issues, so to contribute to the Girls Just Want to Have Fundamental Rights Fund, whose mission is to advance the rights and health of all women and girls is very important to me.

Argyle, Texas,

Doors has been one of my favorite bands. I saw Brad Arnold on TikTok announcing the contest and it sounded awesome. I looked in to the charities and saw they supported the World DownsSyndrome Foundation. I have a couple of friends the have now adult child that have Downs Syndrome that have been an inspiration to me. So I decided to donate.

Nelson, British Columbia,

I found Rex's music at a really formative time of my life. I was in middle school, and shortly after finding his music, the world went into lockdown. I, along with many others, have had a sharp decline in mental health since then. Rex's music has been so helpful for me during the last 5 years. He was the first concert I ever attended without my parents, and as a musician myself, he has been my biggest influence and motivator to work hard. Rex and his music have given me a sense of purpose in the darkest parts of my life, so I felt very strongly about supporting the foundation in hopes that my donation could help others who might be feeling purposeless at the moment.

Sioux Center, Iowa,

We grew up in Minnesota, and the Boundary Waters, North Shore, and Duluth have always been special to us. Nate’s spent weeks canoeing and backpacking there, and we even honeymooned in Duluth. Now, we love sharing it with our three kids. Living farther away makes us appreciate these places even more, and we’re grateful for organizations that help protect them. We've loved the Avett Brothers for years and last saw them at the Minnesota State Fair in 2015. As musicians, we’re big fans of great instrumentals, and winning this front-row trip is beyond our dreams.

Quincy, Massachusetts,

I entered this sweepstakes honestly thinking nothing would come out of it, and even so, it’s money that would go to a good cause. Billie means so much to RB (my +1) and I, it’s because of him that I’ve grown so attached to both Billie and Finneas. Fun fact, the first tour for WWAFAWDWG, our concert was HIS birthday, and the second tour fell on my own, but sadly got canceled due to covid.

Basalt, Colorado,

I donated to the Trevor Project in honor of a loved one who came out as transgender in 2019. I love her very much and want her to not have to be afraid of being herself around me or anyone else. Life is already hard for many people on this planet, and it's a tragedy that being yourself can make it harder. I want my loved one to know I will always be there for her, and anyone else in that situation to know that there are resources available for when it seems like there's no hope left. I am so excited to see RKS live, and it feels great knowing that supporting a great cause got me there!

Seattle, Washington,

We have always been big fans of TH&TH since 2010. We have gone to several of their benefit shows in Seattle that raise funds for healthcare for artists and musicians, equitable access to music education for youths, and awareness for upcoming local artists and musicians. And of course, during an election year, the only way to maintain a strong democracy is to support it and VOTE!!!

Manville, New Jersey,

Thank you so much to the band, the 10th Street team and the Fandiem team for putting this together. The whole thing felt like a hang I would have with buddies I've known for years.  I wish we took more pictures throughout the night, but we were so into the moment that we barely picked up our phones and I think that's a good sign of a great night.

Peterborough, Ontario,

I donated because I've been lucky to have access to good mental health care throughout my life when I've needed it, and I wanted to help others access the care they need too. We are big arts lovers and I know artists don't always make the money they deserve. Plus it was such an easy process to donate, there was no reason not to! EXTRA if it's helpful / just to say thank you!: We just got married last month and weren't able to afford a real "honeymoon". We are just blown away by winning this prize and are so excited to enjoy this concert together! Thank you so much, Fandiem!

We both had an amazing time in Cardiff seeing Weezer. The venue in the castle was amazing. We got to meet Weezers tour manager for the signed set list, who even stuck around for a few songs and told us about the band. We then went on a tour around South Wales, seeing some incredible places like Castell Coch, Caerphilly and Brecon Beacons.Thank you again for this amazing experience.

Glendale, Arizona,

Many people in the US struggle with medical bills which then translates to struggling in other parts of life such as housing costs and living expenses. My brother recently was hospitalized and my family and I realized how expensive it can get. My family and I were lucky to be able to cover his expenses but for some people that isn't their reality. Donating to The Upside Fund was something that I believed in and felt great about doing to help those in need. I also want to thank Lindsey, her team, and anyone else included for crafting this grand prize which I am grateful for and excited to have won. Thank you for supporting an important cause that I strongly believe in.

I have family members with or that had diabetes, making this cause personal to me. I've followed Nicks journey, since he wrote 'A Little Bit Longer,' which has left a lasting impact on me. I understand the importance of supporting causes like diabetes research and education. I'm inspired by Beyond Type 1's mission to 'change what it means to live with chronic illness.' As having battled arthritis throughout my life, I can personally relate to the challenges of navigating a chronic condition. This chance to meet the Jonas Brothers would not only fulfill a dream but also empower me to be an even more dedicated advocate for individuals facing chronic illnesses.

My donation to win this prize was two-fold. I have been a long time Disturbed fan and was able to see them for the first time this year in St. Paul earlier this year with two of my brothers, and my great-nephew, Lucius. Organizations that support veterans have always been near and dear to my heart. I have been a proud supporter of Paralyzed Veterans of America for nearly 30 years, Wounded Warriors as well as DAV, and Veterans of Foreign Wars. I honestly didn't think I would actually win, but was happy to support such a great cause.
