Umphrey's McGee was my husband’s favorite band back in college, and we’ve been seeing shows together since 2014. Their music and this community have truly changed my outlook on life. It’s brought us lifelong friendships, first in the Midwest and now in the Northeast, where we’ve met some of the kindest, most welcoming people. It’s even made us so much closer with my brother- and sister-in-law, Steph and Spence. After missing the COVID Röckjavik reschedule and then having kids, six years later feels like the perfect time to get back out there and rock out with UM and the crew! I donated because I love how Ben used his platform to raise money for the community after their show was canceled in Minnesota (my home state) this past January. I believe the Mad Love Foundation can create that same kind of profound impact beyond the stage, everywhere UM goes.
