Hawthorne, New York, United StatesMy dad took me and my best friends to our first Pearl Jam concert on September 29, 1996 at Randall’s Island in New York City. We were 14 years old and No Code had just been released. I have followed the band ever since. From their get out the vote efforts to EB research and skate parks in Montana, I’ve always been inspired by the way the band members support important and meaningful causes. I’m proud to be a longtime fan and part of such an amazing fan community, which is why I am always happy to give back by donating. Never did I contemplate actually winning this prize and I am immensely grateful to the band and my fellow fans who also donated.
