I’ve been a massive indie music fan since school listening and loving Blur, so Damon Albarn and Gorillaz have been on my turntable, headphones and playlists forever. When I saw the Gorillaz NYC prize draw, I thought that's worth a go as is such a good cause to donate to anyway. I’d known about War Child’s work with stars of music since the release of the1995 album Help, which raised money for Bosnian children. To actually win the grand prize and be heading to New York is an such an amazing one of experience thank you Fandiem, you've made this little ol' muso fan very happy indeed!
