I have been listening to Sublime, and not much else, for over 30 years, and I have lived near the Narragansett Bay for longer. I grew up in house a block away from the beach in Riverside, RI, on the banks of Narragansett Bay, the same house I first listened to Sublime in. Save The Bay was an ever present organization in my neighborhood as they worked to clean the water and lobby for legislation to make the Bay safe to swim and fish for all. Save The Bay events were held at that beach a block from my house throughout my youth, and I always enjoyed walking the jetty sticking out into the Bay from the beach. Getting the chance to see my forever favorite band in my home state was amazing, as the OG Sublime only rolled through Rhode Island once. Then I saw that they were teaming up Save The Bay and Fandiem for a chance to win exclusive access and gifts, it was a no brainer. Even if I didn't win, I was happy to have donated to an organization, location and band that are very special to me. Thank you for making this a core memory and a moment I never dreamed could happen. I can't wait for Island Rhodes!
