Leading the green music movement since 2004, REVERB (REVERB.org) partners with artists, festivals, and venues to reduce their environmental footprint while empowering millions of fans to take action on today’s most pressing environmental issues. Working with artist partners like Billie Eilish, Dave Matthews Band, Jack Johnson, My Morning Jacket, Dead & Company and many more, REVERB has greened over 400 tours & 7300 concert events, drawn down 420,000+ tons of CO2e, and prevented the use of over 4.5 million single-use plastic bottles. REVERB is the Official Music and Public Engagement Partner of the United Nations Environment Programme.REVERB’s Music Decarbonization Project (MDP) advances innovative climate solutions to directly eliminate carbon emissions created by the music industry. REVERB replaces diesel generators with clean energy, offer solutions for reducing emissions from concert travel, and help festivals, tours, and venues adopt climate solutions. In less than two years, MDP has powered 190+ artist performances with clean energy, eliminated 160 metric tons of CO₂e, and replaced 18,000+ gallons of diesel, cutting fossil fuel use by 98% at powered stages. Decarbonization efforts have drastically reduced emissions at major events including Lollapalooza, Austin City Limits, Coachella, and many more.
