I’ve been a Katy Perry fan since the One of the Boys era. I discovered her in 2009, when I was just 9 years old. My first Katy concert was during the Prismatic World Tour, when I was 14, and that was when I truly realized that our connection felt like something from another lifetime. Winning an outfit from the very same year I became a fan of Katy, while also supporting the Firework Foundation, such a beautiful and magical organization, means more to me than I could ever put into words. Katy has a unique way of giving each of us a personal shine and hope for a better world in a way that only she can. Her one-of-a-kind personality is truly captivating. She planted a garden of love and gratitude in me, and I will carry those seeds with me forever.
