They treated us like we were legitimate guests of theirs as opposed to some strangers who got insanely lucky. From the moment we arrived until the moment we left they made sure we were comfortable, hooked us up with refreshments from their own stash, organically engaged in conversation, let us join in and sing during their pre-show set, brought us into their huddle, lots of hugs, hand shakes, fist bumps, smiles; just absolutely welcoming, funny, friendly people. Anyone who they count as friends are truly lucky humans. The show from side stage is something I know we’ll never forget!

And I chaired a scholarship committee at our local Boys and Girls Club for almost 15 years so the combination of supporting military families with scholarships and the chance to see Parker was an easy decision!
