Sweet Relief seemed to be spot on. Us music dependent people rely all too much on getting what soothes us, make us heal, and brings us joy. It’s nice to know there is just a little way we can give back to those who do that, and may need our help when life shows up. Goose has been instrumental in my recovery after my wife died from lung cancer on New Year’s Day. All my Goose people know the story, and have helped me heal. Hugs, tears, friendship, meals, and just time well spent. Things were dark, and the music and friends got me back to living. They’ve also welcomed my daughter, Sara, and have brought her back to life too. I am all too grateful for the band and what they’ve given to me. Funny thing, I am not the only one who’s benefited greatly from what they do. They’ve impacted a lot of us, and helped in ways words cannot fully express.
