Win a 4-Night Phish Trip at Sphere in Vegas + Signed Poster

Phish’s latest legendary run at The Sphere in Las Vegas utilized state of the art technologies to give fans something totally unique. The show was the first of its kind, a landmark event in the history of the band and the live music industry, which combined the Sphere’s state-of-the-art technological capabilities with Phish’s idiosyncratic creative direction, visually curated by lighting designer Abigail Rosen Holmes.

The venue offered custom visuals on the 160,000-square foot 16K-by-16K LED screen and, according to the Associated Press, utilized 1.2 million LED ā€œpucksā€ that make up the 580,000-square foot exosphere, each of which can display more than 1 billion colors.

"From the moment we first heard about Sphere and its potential, we’ve been dreaming up ways to bring our show to this breathtaking canvas," said Phish guitarist and vocalist Trey Anastasio in a statement. "We’re thrilled to present this completely unique experience to Phish fans."

For this run of 4 distinct shows, Fandiem partnered with Phish and the band’s nonprofit, The WaterWheel Foundation, which aims to create positive change by supporting nonprofit organizations based in Phish's home state of Vermont, especially those focused on cleaning up the Lake Champlain watershed, as well as nonprofits local to each community where Phish's tour stops via WaterWheel's Touring Division.

Michael O. from Lincolnville, ME donated to the Sphere campaign to benefit the WaterWheel Foundation and bolster their efforts, and ended up winning tickets to all four nights of this unforgettable spectacle. Michael brought his son Marley as a graduation gift, and the two spent a long weekend in Las Vegas at the casinos and witnessing the sheer magic that was Phish at The Sphere.Ā

ā€œI’ve never really experienced anything like this in my life.ā€

ā€œLuck seems to be on our sideā€ remarked Michael when Fandiem caught up with him at The Fontainebleau, where he and his son stayed for free, courtesy of winning the contest. ā€œPhish has been killing it, they’ve been playing so well. The visuals and the storytelling that they’ve done and put together, it’s spectacular. It’s all around you. And the sound is absolutely spectacular… It’s immersive, it’s bouncing all over the place; it’s in front of you, it’s to the side, it’s behind you… I’ve never really experienced anything like this in my life.ā€

Michael also thanked the WaterWheel Foundation for their efforts in advocating for environmental awareness and action at all of Phish’s tour dates. ā€œThey’ve been doing this for 26 yearsā€ said Michael, ā€œnot only do they fundraise in the community’s where they’re at, they also source volunteers and put boots on the ground to really make a difference in the communities where the band plays.ā€

Michael won the contest, but he also had a direct impact on The WaterWheel Foundation’s fundraising efforts through his donation, something that means the world to him and fans like him.Ā  It’s what we at Fandiem call the Ecosystem of Giving. Your donation isn’t just a donation - it’s part and parcel of a wider philanthropic universe. At Fandiem, we aim to encourage and inspire fans to directly involve themselves in the causes they are passionate about. Whether it’s protecting the environment, promoting social justice, fighting food insecurity, or registering voters; causes supported by organizations like the WaterWheel Foundation are bolstered and advanced by fans like you. So what do you say? Let’s see how a little ripple can cause a huge wave.Ā

ā¤ļø Non Profit Highlight ā¤ļø

At Fandiem, your participation helps nonprofits reach new and greater heights. Your energy, enthusiasm, and donations make a direct impact in the Ecosystem of Giving. Here are some highlights of our partner organizations and the great work they are doing.

Meals on Wheels recently partnered with Fandiem on a campaign with Sebastian Manascalco that raised more than $34,000 to provide meals to seniors in need across the United States. That’s a lot of meals!

The contest winner, Jim C. from North Carolina, received a trip for himself and a guest to Manascalco’s live show at The Encore Theater at Wynn, in Las Vegas. By donating, Jim was able to have a direct impact on the more than 5,000 community programs that Meals on Wheels supports across the country. Each of these programs are dedicated to addressing senior isolation and hunger. When fans like Jim donated to this program, they could know they were directly impacting seniors’ nutrition, social interaction, and ability to live independently.Ā

Meals on Wheels ensures seniors receive balanced meals, addressing challenges like physical limitations and financial constraints. Volunteers not only deliver meals but also provide crucial social interaction, reducing feelings of isolation and loneliness. By supporting independent living through home meal delivery, Meals on Wheels helps seniors stay in their own homes longer, delaying or avoiding the need for assisted living facilities.
